Patrick Beverley announces his departure from the NBA to join Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Israeli Basketball League.


 Patrick Beverley, unable to secure a new NBA contract during free agency, is set to leave the league for his next opportunity. The 36-year-old guard has announced his decision to join Hapoel Tel Aviv BC in the Israeli Basketball Premier League, as revealed on his "Pat Bev Pod" social media platform. Beverley shared that the offer from Hapoel Tel Aviv met all his expectations, prompting him to accept a lucrative two-year, $4 million deal, per Sportal (via MLive). Despite offers from NBA teams like the Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets for the veteran minimum, Beverley opted for the appeal of international play.



Last season, Beverley concluded with the Milwaukee Bucks after a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers, averaging six points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists with a 36% three-point shooting rate. His departure from the NBA may mark the end of a 12-year career that saw him play for various teams including the Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets.
